BUMU MEANS UNITY
Many would assume the Ugandan people are a singular group with an identical culture across the country, this is not the case. Uganda is a country where over 70 languages are spoken across dozens of ethnic groups and tribes. Each people and region contains its own unique cultural attributes that have yet to be documented. BUMU was created in 2013 to bridge the gap between these cultures and unite people throughout Uganda together to share what makes them unique with the world. The main purpose of BUMU is to explore Ugandan culture not only in Uganda but through all Africa and to the world.
